About SNRG
SNRG owns and operates the SmartGrid at West Works, Longbridge. The SmartGrid includes the rooftop solar PV, communal battery storage, distribution network, shared EV charge points, and the related communications and monitoring systems.
The SNRG SmartGrid is a communal, private wire energy system that can integrate dozens, hundreds or thousands of homes in a single location. The ‘synergy’ created from this place-based integration will allow ‘SNRG’ to:
Offer tariff rates, which are at least 15% cheaper than the current Ofgem Default Tariff Cap rate/s. Tariff information is available on the West Works Tariff Information page.
Supply electricity to your home from the onsite rooftop solar panels as well as offsite energy sources including wind, hydro or nuclear.
Provide you with access to a well-trained and well-staffed Customer Support Team, an online account and the SNRG app.

Overview
The SNRG SmartGrid at West Works has been designed in collaboration with the developer, St Modwen Homes, who will build all the homes over 7 years. The design of the SmartGrid and its specifications may change over that period, and as such, the estimates are based on the current design.

Up to 1,479 rooftop solar PV panels will be directly connected to the West Works SNRG SmartGrid, creating a large communal solar array.

The rooftop solar PV panels are estimated to generate up to 561,505kWh annually, and through the SNRG SmartGrid will meet an estimated 24% of the West Works residents’ electricity demand.

While we will strive to maximise our customers’ electricity bill savings we will always provide a minimum 15% discount to the applicable Ofgem Default Tariff Cap rates.

NextGen Power Supplied by SNRG
215 homes at West Works, Longbridge are connected to the SNRG SmartGrid. If you live in one of these homes, and once you have signed up for an account, SNRG will be your electricity supplier. SNRG will send you monthly bills—either by paper or digitally—that you can pay through various convenient methods. You’ll also have access to an online account, the SNRG app, and our Customer Support Team who are available via phone or email.
When the sun shines, much of your electricity may come from the communal rooftop solar PV array. During periods when onsite solar or battery energy isn’t sufficient to meet the energy demand for your home, electricity from offsite energy sources like wind, hydro or nuclear will supply the national grid, which will supply the SNRG SmartGrid and in turn your home.

If you want to sign up for an account, please click on the button below or visiting oursnrg.com/setup and enter your details. Alternatively, you can set up your account by calling the Customer Support Team.
A letter with a unique Registration code will then be sent to your home, allowing you to access your account online, via the SNRG app or the Customer Support Team. You will also begin to receive monthly bills from SNRG with convenient payment methods.
