HHD Data Access, Use and Confidentiality Terms

These terms apply where you submit this form to SNRG Limited to authorise SNRG to access, retrieve and analyse half-hourly electricity consumption data for the MPAN or MPANs listed in this form.

1. 1. Authority and consent

   By submitting this form, you confirm that:

   1. (a) you are authorised to act on behalf of the company or organisation named in this form;
   2. (b) the company or organisation named in this form is the electricity customer, bill payer or otherwise has authority to provide consent in relation to the MPAN or MPANs listed in this form;
   3. (c) the MPAN, site postcode and other information provided in this form are accurate and have been taken from the relevant electricity bill or other reliable electricity account information; and
   4. (d) you consent to SNRG retrieving half-hourly electricity consumption data, MPAN information and related metering information for the MPAN or MPANs listed in this form from ElectraLink and/or other relevant electricity industry data sources.

2. 2. Permitted use of data

   SNRG may use the information submitted in this form, the half-hourly electricity consumption data retrieved in respect of the listed MPAN or MPANs, and any analysis, modelling, reports or outputs derived from that data for the following purposes:

   1. (a) validating the MPAN and site postcode;
   2. (b) assessing electricity consumption, load profile and site energy requirements;
   3. (c) assessing the potential suitability of SNRG products, services, infrastructure or energy solutions;
   4. (d) preparing feasibility analysis, commercial proposals, technical assessments and related internal business analysis;
   5. (e) contacting you or your organisation in relation to the relevant site, MPAN, proposal or opportunity; and
   6. (f) keeping an audit record of the consent provided through this form.

3. 3. Confidentiality

   SNRG will treat the MPAN information, site postcode, half-hourly electricity consumption data and any customer-specific outputs derived from that data as confidential.

   SNRG will not disclose that information to third parties except:

   1. (a) to SNRG group companies, officers, employees, consultants, contractors and professional advisers who need access for the permitted purposes set out above;
   2. (b) to ElectraLink, electricity suppliers, distribution network operators, metering agents, data providers, software providers, hosting providers and other service providers where this is necessary to retrieve, validate, process, store or analyse the data;
   3. (c) to funders, investors, technical advisers, contractors or commercial partners where disclosure is reasonably necessary to assess, structure, finance, deliver or support a potential project or proposal;
   4. (d) where the recipient is subject to confidentiality obligations, professional duties of confidentiality or equivalent restrictions on use and disclosure;
   5. (e) where required by law, regulation, court order, a competent authority or applicable electricity industry rules; or
   6. (f) where you or your organisation have given prior written consent.

4. 4. Derived and aggregated outputs

   SNRG may create analysis, models, reports, assumptions, benchmarks and other outputs using the data retrieved in respect of the listed MPAN or MPANs.

   SNRG will not disclose customer-specific derived outputs to third parties except as permitted under paragraph 3.

   SNRG may use aggregated or anonymised information for internal analysis, benchmarking, product development and business planning, provided that the relevant company, site, MPAN and individual cannot reasonably be identified from that information.

5. 5. Security and retention

   SNRG will apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information submitted through this form and the data retrieved using the consent provided.

   SNRG will retain the information for as long as reasonably necessary for the permitted purposes set out above, including for audit, legal, regulatory, commercial and project assessment purposes.

6. 6. No obligation to proceed

   Submitting this form does not require you or your organisation to enter into any contract with SNRG, and does not require SNRG to make any offer or proceed with any project or proposal.

7. 7. Confirmation

   By ticking the box below and submitting this form, you confirm that you have read and accept these HHD Data Access, Use and Confidentiality Terms, and that you authorise SNRG to retrieve and use the relevant half-hourly electricity consumption data for the purposes described above.
